Tackle Mission

The Mission of the Barrington Youth Football Tackle program is to provide the opportunity for Barrington area boys and girls between the ages of seven and fourteen to learn the fundamentals of football and participate in an organized, competitive program with participants of similar age and size. The BYF TACKLE Program is open to children that reside in the Barrington School District (District 220 http://www.cusd220.org).

Tackle teams travel to compete against other towns and football organizations that are members of the
The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL).

REGISTRATION FEES
Tackle = $550

Please review the AGE and WEIGHT classes for TACKLE. This is updated from with final data from the TCYFL tackle league when available.

2024 Schedule

Pre-season conditioning July 29th - Aug 23rd 6-8pm Mon-Th Beese (Bantam, FW, MW); BHS stadium (LW, Varsity)
Season begins Aug 26th (first games Aug 31st)

BIRTH CERTIFICATE
We need a photo-copy (which we can keep) of each player's birth certificate for the league. Please bring a birth certificate copy to registration.

ELIGIBILITY
The BYF FLAG & TACKLE Programs are primarily open to the children that reside in the Barrington School District 220

EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT POLICY
For TACKLE players, there is a $300 equipment deposit.

REFUNDS
A refund, less processing fee, is available until June 1st.
